    Have you ever purchased a Barbara Sturm product, even ENJOYED a Barbara Sturm product, and wondered why the hell it cost so much?  Well, there's a new Barbara Sturm in town and her name is Dr. Lara Devgan. This famous NYC plastic surgeon and media darling has her own line of products selling at all the beauty gatekeeper retailers like Sephora, Violet Grey and now Netaporter. Prices are jaw dropping and range from $65 to $300. 

     Yikes!  This stuff must be INCREDIBLE.  Check out what they're saying about Dr. Lara Devgan Scientific Beauty: "Luxury medical-grade skin care by a renowned beauty expert. Intelligent, clinically effective, clean beauty products based in the heart of New York City. As seen in Vogue, Allure, Harper’s Bazaar, and Forbes." And, surprise, surprise, just like Barbara Sturm, she credits celebrity fans like Kim Kardashian and Bella Hadid for really moving the needle for her brand.

     Rather than babble on, Beauty Wonkette thinks it best to just cut to the chase.  Essentially every product in the line has a 98% - 100% comparable dupe selling at a fraction of the price. As shocking as it is, it really looks very likely that this is just a private label line with customized packaging.  Beauty Wonkette has NOTHING against private label lines. In fact, Beauty Wonkette kinda loves them.
